Terms & Conditions

By booking a service appointment with Mason Bee Photo and paying the required deposit, you (“Client”) are agreeing to the following Terms and Conditions. These terms serve as a binding agreement between you and Mason Bee Photo and Video, LLC (“Service Provider”).

1. 📌 Booking & Payment

  • A non-refundable deposit (40% of the total package price) is required to reserve your event date.

  • No dates are held without a deposit.

  • The remaining balance is due [7 days] before the event date unless otherwise arranged in writing.

  • Accepted payment methods include [Credit Card, PayPal, Venmo, others listed when checking out].

2. 🎥 Scope of Services

  • Mason Bee Photo will provide photography and/or videography services as outlined in your selected package.

  • Service includes basic editing, color correction, and delivery in digital format.

  • Specific requests (e.g., drone footage, second shooter, custom edits) must be agreed upon before the event and may incur additional fees.

3. 🗓️ Rescheduling & Cancellation

  • Cancellation by Client:
    The deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel after full payment, a partial refund may be issued based on work completed and time remaining before the event.

  • Rescheduling:
    Subject to availability and must be requested in writing. A rescheduling fee may apply.

  • Cancellation by Service Provider:
    If we are unable to perform due to unforeseen circumstances, we will issue a full refund including your deposit, and assist in securing a replacement provider.

4. 📦 Deliverables & Turnaround Time

  • Edited photos/videos will be delivered within [6 weeks max] of the event date via a downloadable gallery or media link.

  • Rush delivery is available at an additional cost to be agreed upon in writing following the event.

  • A complimentary USB drive with all digital media and select physical prints will be shipped within [2 weeks following the delivery of downloadable content].

5. 💻 Client Responsibilities

  • You agree to provide accurate event details, timeline, and location access.

  • You acknowledge that the quality of the final product is affected by cooperation and available conditions (lighting, space, timing, etc.).

  • You are responsible for securing permission to film/photograph at chosen venues.

6. 📸 Copyright & Usage

  • All photos and videos remain the intellectual property of Mason Bee Photo.

  • You are granted a personal-use license to download, print, and share the media.

  • Commercial use (including advertising, resale, or publication) requires written consent and may incur additional fees.

  • Unless otherwise requested in writing, Mason Bee Photo retains the right to use captured media for portfolio, marketing, and promotional purposes.

7. ⚠️ Limitation of Liability

  • While every reasonable effort will be made to produce high-quality images and videos, we are not liable for lost moments due to weather, interference, restrictions, or equipment failure beyond our control.

  • In the unlikely event of total media loss, our liability is limited to the amount paid by the Client.

8. ⚖️ Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah. Any disputes shall be resolved through negotiation or mediation before legal action is considered.
